About Me
I work at a library and a doggy daycare. I love both my jobs and am pationate about reading, literacy, and animals in general.
I live in a condo with my boyfriend, our 4 cats, 2 leopard geckos, 4 fire belly toads, and 2 bettas.
This is a blog about what I read and what I do. I may occasionally talk about how to train dogs or cats, or how to deal with and change problem behaviors in your pets.

After looking at the sweet little Cavalier’s face on the cover of this book three or four times a week at work I finally caved and borrowed it. I suppose I can count it as part of my quest to expand my reading boundaries…except that it’s well within one of them. I love reading about [...]

If you haven’t seen it already check out Part 1 How to Deal with Problem Behaviors “He did it on purpose!” / “She’s spiteful/mean!” Ect. I’m addressing this because I hear it a lot from owners from all walks of life. This is one of the biggest, most harmful, misconceptions about our pets. In order to [...]

I haven’t updated this is a while, so I’m overdue. I promise I’ll be talking about a few books later this week, but today I’m posting about an issue that I see all the time. I know many people who think cats magically train themselves. I have people tell me all the time “Wow, your [...]
